Dove Shore began his career in photography in Los Angeles in the 90′s, working for David LaChapelle, Brian Bowen Smith and others. Paying careful attention to every artistic detail helped him to define his own style.

Dove’s shoots covers for magazines worldwide, including HARPERS BAZAAR, GQ, ESQUIRE, and his work can be seen in VANITY FAIR, VOGUE, ELLE, and among others. His distinct style allows for the ultimate A-LIST Models and Celebrities to be shown in their natural aesthetic. Dove recently completed his first book for Rodale, entitled Eco-Beautiful. He lives in Los Angeles.

Dove starting painting way before photography but only recently has he opened his paintings to the public. Dove is influenced by all the great abstract artists. One of Dove’s influences is his days working construction on old house, seeing the layers and layers of paint scrapped off old doors and window frames, the old wallpaper being pulled off walls, the history of the house blended together to create a entirely new story. Dove’s heaviest influence is the overwhelming amounts of street art and wheatpasted ads he see’s living in the city. Dove says “We are in a world where we are bombarded with ad imagery on a daily basis. I love when a street artist does a piece on top of those images that I see wheat pasted and collaged together on plywood walls around constructions sites and than they decay from weather and the sun over time, or a weathered old billboard, they take on a narrative of their own, a visual far more interesting than the original, and quite a narrative of the times. That is what interests me.”
